Introduction to the Updated Audit Reports
Content on this page is for a product or feature in controlled release (CR). If you are not part of the CR group and would like more information, contact your CXone Account Representative.
The Activity Audit and Change Audit reports are updating to use the new business intelligence (BI) model. This transition into BI reports opens new functionality and features for you. The following sections highlight the new features for these two audit reports; Actions for Prebuilt BI Reports covers general information about the features that BI reports offer.
These two reports allow you to view general activities across your CXone system. For example, you could view all of the user name changes that occurred during a specific time period. You could also track file state changes, such as a file moving from active storage to long-term storage. The Activity Audit report displays a breakdown of actions performed in different CXone applications, such as logins and logouts. The Change Audit Report displays the details of changes made to CXone existing entities or values, for example, if you change an account's username.
Report Updates
The following changes impact both audit reports:
- The first time that you open the report as a BI report, a Prompt box appears. In this box, you must enter the initial report parameters that you want to display. If you want to change your Prompt selections, you can click Re-Prompt
in the report header bar.

Field Details Time Period Identifies the date range for which you want to display data. The default range is Last 30 Days. Employee

Application Allows you to select which CXone products you want to audit - for which CXone products you want to view changes or activity. If you do not make any selections in this field, the report will accumulate data from all of your CXone applications according to your selected employee and time selections. - If you want to filter the data on a more granular level, you can use the filter bar or the filter button. Both contain many of the same elements, but the filter button expands a window in which you can search for specific elements, such as an individual user or team.
